Lots of experiments in the pipe!

As you can see in these pictures, I am working on lots of experiments!

This includes magnets, wire cutting, foam, cedar, 3D printing and much more!

The magnets are in a stack of 75 of them at .8g. They are 2mm x 0.4mm. That comes to .01g each so I can use a few of them on one airplane and it will not impact the weight. They may be a good way of having a removable tail plane or fin.

The pile of foam is for experiments with a hot wire cutter I’m working on. I want to use foam for making Walk-Along-Gliders as well as foam parts for rubber-power planes.

The cedar is an experiment to try to incorporate some local materials into a model plane.

The 3d printer will be used for propeller prototypes as well as the possibility of other plastic parts. I eventually want to figure out how to recycle pop bottles to make parts.
