Camera for School Teacher in India

Dinkar Narwad is a school teacher in India. He has been borrowing a camera and using his phone camera to share what he”s been up to with the world.

We sent him a camera but it was lost in the mail. If anybody has a digital camera with video they’re not using and you’d like to donate it please contact us!

If you’d like to make a donation towards a purchase of a camera (and shipping it to India), please follow this button.

The camauera that went missing in the mail:

Serial Number: KCXGW72400826

Model: Kodak Z1275 Zoom Digital Camera

Found using: http://regex.info/exif.cgi

Here are some pictures of the box I used to send my old camera as well as a picture of the camera.

 Update August 6, 2012:

No-one came forward with a donation so I bought one myself. It is on it’s way as of 11:45am today.

I purchased it in USA and had it shipped directly to India.

I got a good deal on one thanks to thecamerabox (ebay ID).

Nikon chargers work on 240V so the only challenge will be the plug-in style. An adapter may be needed. I am assuming it has a North America 110/120V plug in chord.
