Model airplanes can make a great family activity!
I had the great pleasure of being introduced to my friend Talib Khan's three daughters and building some Squirrels with them. They are aged 8 to 15. I was amazed by their level of focus, ability to follow directions and enthusiasm. They also showed amazing manual dexterity. Take a look at the video below. You can see that the kids were able to use the same techniques that I show in my workshops.
Here are a few pictures I took during our building session. You can tell we had a lot of fun. It took about 40m to complete the Squirrels.
