Miniatureization

RC Aircraft are fun but complex. The amount of time fiddling and money spent is pretty high.

Some progress was made with the advent of this carbon fiber electric plane. This was one of the early small electrics that had good aerobatic capabilities.

With this new technology you could avoid going to the designated areas and consider parking lots and parks. This eventually became known as a park flyer.

Workshops and transportation

If you want to run RC aircraft it really helps to have a shop and a vehicle suitable for carrying them.

You’ll want to keep an inventory in your shop to cut down trips to the hobby store.

You’ll also want racks, tools, desks, workbenches and so fort.

Generally model planes require a designated flying site which usually have club membership fees. You’ll also want to join  your countries model airplane association which will generally provide the required insurance.
